Hi 👋🏽, I am 39 looking to make a big career change from working in customer service. I have been thinking about going to college to become a Nurse and once I’m done with all my schooling and what not, and become a Derm Nurse. But Nurse and NP are 2 different things, question do Nurses and NPs go to the same colleges or is it just a different program that they take?

I'm interested. I'm a psych nurse. But, my daughter just finished her derm residency. So.... why not work for someone i can make go get me a sandwich?

I think it's great thay you are beinf objective about your interests and needs compared to the reality of true midwifery. Babies come at all hours of the day. It is unfair to expect the clients who have spend months building relationships with their midwives to let a stranger deliver their baby at the 11th hour because of "bankers hours" expectations. I think midwives should stick to the traditional service they provide for their clients from prenatal to birth (actually being there!). That being said....midwives should get paid BANK so they can afford SEVERAL VACATIONS , affors to have domestic help at home so they don't burn out from the heavy work that they do.

New grad RN (currently have an ADN) right here, thank you so much for making this affirmation video. I am actually going through that, i just feel so scared to move forward to get an actual job for RN. I worked as an LVN for 3 years and presently still, RN is a big step, I just want to be as efficient and safe as possible and know what I need to do. I definately have flutters in my chest and butterflies in my belly. I want this, I dont want to be scared anymore. >_< I want to work as an RN. I dont know if I shoudl jump into a new grad job or a residency. I dont know which is the right step going forward. Any advice?? Thank you!🙏🙏

Did the university gave you preceptor for clinical hours or you had to look for a dermatologist / pay them to give you clinical hours?

I didn’t think it was possible for me to go into derm with a woman’s health background as a nurse, but now I’m so glad I found your videos!!
